Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Target on I-10's

I am lucky that I got out of Dell during the last August/September round of layoffs.

Several people have contacted me over the last couple of days for advice. Since they have been tapped. Most are in ISG with a couple in CSG.

The thing that most have in common is that they are I-10s. A few have gotten the word from their managers that executives don't think I-10s are worth it. One has offered to drop to an I-9 pay grade and they are considering if they can keep her.

Other than that a few Directors in ISG Product Group have been tagged.

heard there is no more hiring in US now...all offshore hires only....except interns.

@qhu+1t6TYS4b They want to work people out.
It has become such a terrible place to be but people want to be paid out not worked out so they stay for now.
The push online for CSG and partner first for storage.Add in CoPilot which is coming to a Dell office near you in the coming months will streamline the workforce and allow Dell to cut massive numbers across the board.
This is common sense not a rumour.
Think about it.We dont need the numbers we have in some areas.
