Judging from all the info available, news and rumors, we are talking high numbers. Anyone know when they will begin? It really feels like we all are on the sinking ship.

Michigan Warn site just updated today for June submissions. Stellantis is not listed. https://milmi.org/warn/
ICT North America has an in person town hall Tuesday. I think they are safe.
because a lot of ppl "believed" this so-called HR ja----s to be the source of "truth". My question, well where are ya "bo-b shell" truth-ER? Huh? Causing mass hysteria and fear mongering?
Can't believe everything you see on the 'net ,folks, specially here and on REDDIT for god's sakes.
SMH...
@mrwq+1t7Frppx probably won't be as bad as people made it out to be. Imagine that.
It’s been very quiet this week. Is it “no news is good news” or “the calm before the storm”?
@hkst+1t7Frppx I highly doubt that is the case. If so, that would mean my group specifically would lose all but one engineer lol. We had one guy get a 5. Everyone else got 4s except for the one person who got a 3 and that person was let go back in March.
True... different user name but a lot of the same way of speaking and verbiage as the last person.
ppl who still overperformed at 1/2 still got cut... so yea it wont matter to the overlords. Essentially, if you're an american and get paid plenty you're on the hook, regardless of performance
and the person with the "bombshell" update, I take it youre the original "HR" contributor who mentioned that layoffs were going to happen at the of june and/or before the july break. So, what makes you think we should trust you? Clearly you said you worked in HR or some other depts.
So with this update of yours, what's the exact date? Is it this month, next or Q3? Enough with your bs nda clause. Quit creating mass chaos and fear mongering cuz thats all you pricks do on these forums
Anyone who got a 3 or 4 on their performance review last year is toast
@Unfortunately_this_happens this is what I heard as well, from a purchasing manager
I had to sign a specific NDA but here it goes anyway in the interest of preparedness - Names are now final and have been provided to HR. Now the lawyers are going through the names and making sure that they are lawsuit-proof i.e. there’s rationale behind each name. They hit a little bit of a pause because of the “let’s all white collared people create a Union” type postings on Reddit. But now looks like that union talk has disappeared. So…
Once they are done….. down comes the axe. It’s a large number but it’s not everyone like some people here have been saying. Strictly performance based. It was difficult because we did this also in March and now we don’t have any fat to cut. Now it’s cutting into muscle and bone. Managers are not happy about this.
Oh by the way, the 60-day notice period will be the severance period. Nothing after that. Not based on years of service etc that some have mentioned. WARN guidelines followed to the T.
Select roles that they think can be done in BCC will be cut. Things that are of “service” in nature and are not considered “mainstream” enough, things that don’t need to be in real time. Example- CAE, CFD, Drawings, creating finance requisitions, technical writing, proofreading ads, writing SW code, etc. In those areas a larger number of people will be let go. People who aren’t let go will check the work done in BCC before delivering results to the “mainstream”. Once the dust settles, there will be a re-org and then salary revisions in September.
Also, contrary to postings here, there will NOT be layoffs in Canada, Mexico, Italy, France, and Germany. In Europe they can’t fire people en mass by Law so they are using forced unpaid vacations, etc. Europeans also got information on placement services and the company is paying for people to find other jobs. So the workforce will be reduced but in a different way. And of course there will be hiring in Mexico, Brazil, Morocco, and India and Poland.
Some people on this forum think that the 60-day notice is fake news. Well, it’s the Law. The WARN act mandates it. So don’t plainly dismiss it without reading up.
By thanksgiving, all this will be complete and 2025 will see a much leaner Stellantis.
Interesting note, some job postings have shown up on the Stellantis Careers website for Auburn Hills... buyers, marketing, etc... whoever noted that they wouldn't be hiring in NA anymore was also full of it. That person claiming to be in "HR" was clearly lying as well.
Chris Taylor has a town hall scheduled for the 26th. I haven't heard anything about ICT layoffs, but they were never in CTC and have been remote since 2020.
Engineer in BCI.....no email. No meeting notifications. Nothing. Could mean that I'm on the chopping block? Who knows anymore
Heard email went out today to Eng and purchasing, can someone validate this?
@bagz+1t7Frppx they were just trying to scare people and get everyone riled up. The jobs going to LCC are going to be those that make sense for what the company is trying to do. They were trying to scare people into thinking everyone was going to be wiped out except management.
sounds like the source of "truth" HR ja----s was wrong, and here we are on 7/1 with nothing from upper management of layoffs
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/stellantis-announce-first-half-2024-120100330.html
layoffs won't occur after the TH's and Q2 results
I wouldn’t blame it on the UAW…Stellantis was headed towards this direction Q1 2023……
@8tpv+1t7Frppx the UAW kept pushing and pushing for insane amounts of money, what did they expect would happen?
No there won't be layoff. The $200 million cost cut in 2nd half will be deducted from upper management paycheck. Yes everyone is safe lol
https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2024/06/28/tgrl-j28.html
Here we are on 6/28 and not a word about the layoffs. I'm starting to think some people on here were making things up. Not about the layoffs, but about how many people, the dates, etc...
Yes, and raises will be announced in September
Same here, though it is interesting that 60 days from July 3 is the last day of August.
I’m in engineering at CTC. Have not seen any official communications or heard anything from coworkers.
Any news of layoffs today so far ?
Mr Senior Exec - it just means that you’re going to be laid off
I just was told by a Stallantis employee that 500 people were let go from the plants that build the DS and WS.
Can confirm as well that on reddit a troll posted a fake "mandatory WFH" screenshot to create chaos and fear mongering. Have not received any official email indicating to stay home.
I am a senior level exec at stellantis in North America - I have heard nothing about a layoff, no information. For the March layoff I knew about it for over a month including who. It may just mean that nobody on my team is impacted but I am guessing it is not happening.
The "email" that was going around on reddit about WFH tomorrow, is fake....I have not seen or heard about any legit mandatory WFH emails from any group.
At the very least, it's not all of engineering. I didn't get one this time, but I did back in March.
@8lwe+1t7Frppx 100 percent. Swx and engineering got emails that it's mandatory wfh tomorrow.
What are the chances of layoffs tomorrow ?
For the commentator below mine:
I wish you a speedy recovery, you will land on your feet. This is just a bump in the road.
I was laid off suddenly in March and it had turned my life upside down. I still haven’t recovered. Good luck to everyone still there, but just know that if you are given the 60 day notice, you are way luckier than us March folks!
Fu-k this job, fu-k you boss,
Fu-k your profit and fu-k your loss. Fu-k you Carlos in the penthouse too. Guys in the boardroom, fu-k you!

Sounds like you’re too low on the totem pole…May the odds be in your favor :)
What if my manager is an American who reports to a Brazilian who reports to a German who reports to an American who reports to a German who reports to a French guy?
Trust me bro : )
