It's funny working where most people WANT to be laid off creating a joke of an environment without care. Managers at all levels are routinely surplussed leaving those left behind walking on eggshells in constant worry for their role and how much severance pay they'll get while union workers dream daily of their termination package! So throughout the org resonates attitudes not conducive with a successful business model. Simply put: nobody gives a fu-k and our workplace is a joke. So it's just funny hanging out at work doing the minimal to not get fired as we all just wait to inevitably be laid off eventually. Many of us just hope it happens sooner.

The company will lay you off as soon as they possibly can - as soon as they can replace you via automation, outsourcing, off-shoring, or in any way more cheaply than your high costs.
This is the most accurate and truthful post ever seen on this site.
I'm outta here in less than a year. If they throw out a package to me, I'll go sooner.
Don’t worry. They will just keep you on until the contract expires in 26 and let you go with nada.
Just a few big talkers that would be crying if they really did get laid off.
I’d like a few more years. But if I get laid off, meh, who cares.
