Should have been more clear, "week after payday". There's are always layoffs, the only question is how many.
If there were cuts last week, I missed it then.
There hasn't been such a week in years. They downsized people during employee appreciation week and the Tuesday prior to Christmas. The numbers may be a bit smaller on certain weeks, but it never stops.
