Thread regarding L3Harris Technologies layoffs

Looks like a corporate bootlicker posted this garbage, attempting to make it look like the company is doing OK. We saw the same thing at RIM during the initial stages of their collapse.

All companies purge from time to time. Palm Bay is doing a lot of hiring now. Even rehired a recently Rif in a different department.

At least in my department’s closed area they aren’t re-staffing. The same desk is sitting dormant months later while high level performers are pulling the DEId weight. They’re exploiting the top performers with responsibility beyond their pay grade.

I think what the poster is trying to point out is that the layoffs were not job reductions but rather job replacements. it would seem they are re-staffing the very same positions they eliminated in april.

Not sure what the intentions were but it sounds a bit of tone-deaf. If you were lucky enough to keep your job, I congratulate you. But please don't make fun of people who are most likely struggling to provide for their families.
