Thread regarding Stellantis - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles layoffs

Earnings Release

Thoughts on the earnings report? 48% drop in profits year over year and cash flow issues. Not great. Went through the "adjustments" they claim aren't recurring and I think they will be. What's everyone else's thoughts?

A Ram with just a few basic features added on it can run you north of 100k, which is insane

Inflation has su-ked the buying power of most Americans, combine that with high interest rates and lease payments of 6-800$ for what used to be 2-300$ and you got a large crowd of people delaying a purchase or choosing to buy out their current lease and wait. No surprise that smaller more affordable cars are the hot thing on the market today. A lot of companies that focused on more expensive (profitable) vehicles vs cheaper ones will suffer the months and years ahead.

Keep RAM and Jeep. Cancel the rest for N.A. Make new Jeep versions. Jeep Triceratops. Jeep Brontosaurus. Jeep Hooligan.
