Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Fire Chuck for Being a Conman!!!

Chuck, laying off 5% flatline across the org is not the same as restructuring and investing in our high areas of growth.

Why don’t we start by firing the leaders around FSO… From what I recall, that was a “must win and will win”

Also, telling the street our challenge is that customers are spending less and it’s getting tough out there… We know that when the year starts and should plan for that already.

Shareholders and activist investors need to join forces and vote CR and all current ELT out. This company is not generating the intended shareholder revenue. Their core product is slowly dissolving thanks to the advent of Cloud (hint: AWS, GCP, and Azure don't buy Cisco hardware, they innovate their own whiteboxen)

Cisco tries to remain relevant by acquiring leading companies in various domains. This doesn't solve the problem, it only adds fuel to the fire.

How long will Cisco continue to M&A while not addressing the ELT who is failing to revamp Cisco's brand for the latest generation of leading companies on the S&P?

The Street is on to him and his BS. Every other tech firm has boomed in market cap these last two years with the exception of Cisco. There is a reason for that and that reason is because Cisco is irrelevant in the boardroom with a brow beaten workforce fatigued by a culture of constant LRs and tribal internal politics.

That and any S&P leader above the acquisitions. They need to massively shrink that.

Do you really need some brilliant brain behind trying to figure out?
