Many BUs are given pretty large budget cuts around 20-25% and it’s impossible to meet them without layoffs. Anyone who says otherwise is clueless.

Unfortunately, the Empire builders first look to cut services & projects and try to retain as much headcount as possible, making things even worse.
I heard some DCAI teams already I formed of up to 20% cuts.
I don’t hear anyone saying no layoffs. In fact I hear people openly speaking of 20% cuts.
It's like predicting earthquake in California.
People keep saying it's overdue and the earthquake will come anytime soon.

I’d guess our business unit had maybe 2% take the VSP… so another 18% would result in a MASSIVE upheaval… it would change the face of the company… which is EXACTLY what is needed at this point. It is change or DIE time
