@1rrf, that is not a farm, but huge technological company, at least for now. If they want to keep leftovers of qualified workers, they must listen. It is not possible to replace important engineering positions by random guys from the street. So, I am not going to be happy just because I have the job, since I understand, that people like me can ki-l this company if leave it in short time frame. So, let's bargaining go)

I think the best one to vote up is the shot at Cruise Director Christoph asking to share the key learnings and customer improvements coming out of the free all expenses paid vacation to the Bahamas.

Every time someone asks this question management should reduce base pay by 5% across the board. It would help the whiners find the door.

You’ll be lucky if you have a job let alone have the luxury to complain about compensation.

Why bother? Do you really think they care?
As someone below mentioned, you will just get the same canned answer.

They want to make folks more miserable so they will leave of their own accord. Problem is, those that choose to leave are the ones you really don't want to leave.

Believe me, Pat and Christy are well prepared like before and know how to answer this question. Just recalled what they said - we constantly monitor and compare our pay and benefits against our peers and make sure that what we offer to our employees are competitive.

Next question, please.

With layoffs about to happen and the company in serious trouble, is this REALLY the time to demand more in compensation? Good grief, do what you can to keep your job! Don’t be an ungrateful and
foolish putz. The job market is really bad, you don’t want to be out of a job now.

All those managers who can only create powerpoint presentations and get paid to do nothing, come here to say our pay is good or intel cannot afford to pay. They are more worried about their own job. If fired, they will not be able to find anything and have to flip a burger in fast food.

Why? To push Intel into bankruptcy?

Director told me Intel is planning to lay off anyone who asks for a raise because they only want to keep low cost employees. Do not ask for a raise before this round of CPMs is over.

Lol. The company is about to release disastrous earnings and you think you deserve more compensation? If we want better compensation we need to make better products. Simple as that

Sorry. The company is fighting for its life. For the 90% we are at market with our competitors. For the other 10% we will work it out. If u r as good as you think you should talk with your manager about making things happen at rewards. If it does not happen at rewards you are not as good as you think.
