If you work at Intel right now you know it wasn't the moving of work to those places. It's the execution in the existing places. It's easy to point the finger at this low cost geos but in my experience, they are the ones working hard.
Taiwan doesn't have to deal with half it's population actively voting for lower education then getting blaming educated immigrants for why they can't build a competitive semiconductor.
The US should leave Taiwan to defend themselves against China since the Taiwanese are smarter and work harder.
