Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Not a single new US fab from Intel will come online

Intel will steal money from the US tax payers only to drag out the inevitable. Moving jobs to all these banana republics ki-led intel.

When a Taiwanese can immigrant and live is US, he/she can become a billionaire. When an American can immigrant and live in Taiwan, he/she will be a street beggar.

Ohio fab is under construction. Huge consignments are moving to the site in a regular basis. Many liars on this website.

@rht Jensen and Lisa are both Taiwanese and unlike Pat, they are actually running a successful semiconductor company.

"then getting blaming educated immigrants for why they can't build a competitive semiconductor"

they are so educated their countries, schools, and companies are cr-p
that is why they come to the US or steal from the US

let me know when americans go live in those countries
or when they create math or science that learn from

but please feel free to go back to your country and compete with you "advanced" knowledge and intellect

"Once you make manager within IBM you are a protected class for the most part."

nope, it was plainly both
corrupt incompetent management and third world clowns
the dying middle class in the US of course will foot the bill

Compared to the US taiwan is a poor country. TSMC pays sh-t. Surprised some US company doesn't hire the smart ones and kick taiwan's a-s.

OP is clearly wrong. AZ, NM and OR sites already expanded. A lot. OH site will be huge when it comes online.

If you work at Intel right now you know it wasn't the moving of work to those places. It's the execution in the existing places. It's easy to point the finger at this low cost geos but in my experience, they are the ones working hard.

Taiwan doesn't have to deal with half it's population actively voting for lower education then getting blaming educated immigrants for why they can't build a competitive semiconductor.

The US should leave Taiwan to defend themselves against China since the Taiwanese are smarter and work harder.
