it looks like Aug 5 is already here, it is a downward slide in stocks already
Someone posting doomsday prophecies without giving any analysis are challenging normal ones to prove why things are normal? Yeah, we are in times where normal people have to justify their normality ?
There is already Layoffs happening now so don't worry about Aug 5th. Sales AE's, Deal desk and other areas have been hit. What customers are blinded by stellar success?. All sales management is now out of UK and more layoffs are to follow. It shows a lack of control in the business of closing deals due to poor field representation. THey have gone from moving the furniture around on the titanic to polishing the china.
Now, from the engineering VP to the engineering managers, are informing their teams that they must attend the engineering all-hands meeting on 8/6, as there will be an important announcement. This indicates that something significant, like layoffs, might happen on 8/5.
Please post a bullet list of the reasons it won’t be bad. And I hope your reasons are right.

How many positive financial results that truly created shareholder value, created value for customers, and "moved the EPS needle" have there been from the last years of inept management?
