Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

My favorite “f” word.

If you could tell anyone to “f” off, who would it be?

  1. R. and his A$$ brother in Clinton.

Two biggest clowns I ever encountered in my life.

Very reasonable question. Most likely the clowns from XTO IT that finally got ran off.

I once told my boss that the ideas he had defies the laws of thermodynamics. It was actually a very polite debate witnessed by another person. But because the person worries more about his ego than doing the right thing, he reported me for having anger issues. That’s just hilarious because anyone who knows me will say I’m quiet and easy going.

@OP Nobody.

It’s business. It’s not personal.

A job offer is a just business deal. X-amount of money for Y-amount of output. It’s purely transactional. I don’t think too deep about it and I don’t take it home.

I have a list of a holes /?I have worked with. I have only seen it a few times but I is glorious. Some older employees that were ready to go at anytime told off their bosses. My older mentor fought with them and told the truth during meetings about how dysfunctional the place was. I loved it because we could not do it but he could. You can act out once you are retirement ready and say the truth during meetings about the company and the employees. Do it have fun. It will feel good the management needs to here the truth. All my old friends' that fought are gone retired. All I am surrounded by now are scared a kissers that would sell you out for penny. I am close and cannot hold my anger and frustration in much longer. Call your boss an a hole or worse what can they do. I know some one who lost it years ago and cussed out the supervisor. Exxon sent them to counseling for anger management. They were paid in full for 6 months to attend a counselling session instead of come to work. It was like a vacation for them and after they returned it was like the incident didn't happen. They were not even piped and got a good ranking for completing the counselling successfully. This was twenty years ago so it may be different now.

The one who said "don't get too attached to your local geology" (translation: use regional trends instead of actual data for your field). Idiocy at its finest.
