Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

REACH OUT TO AS MANY OF NIELSEN’S CLIENTS AS YOU CAN

Present them facts about the gaps in quality and reporting. A good start would be with Byron Allen’s Weather Group, Entertainment Studios Networks (ESN) and CF Entertainment — which have sued Nielsen previously over quality issues and an outdated business model.

Inform them on the specifics of what you know and not just an emotional “Nielsen su-ks” approach. Present documents if you have them. Give them specific details on what Nielsen fails to disclose, and see if they pursue things any further. Do the same by talking with Nielsen’s competitors.

The more we talk the more we disrupt, and the closer we get to a client or clients making some major noise in regards to Nielsen.

Even more comical is this person requested for us to stop sharing our stories or reaching out to Nielsen’s clients or the MRC so they can remain employed … then within a few posts they are NOW the one laughing at the OP.

Just goes to show you the level of talent left within the company, and why they’re still there.

“ The most obvious, ironic and humorous takeaway …”

Time to put the dictionary away and accept you’re a loser still working for a loser company, and that’s really the only thing to laugh at here.

And what’s even worse (in your situation) is you’re one of the losers still left there taking a daily beat down (sorry, strategizing, LMAO) with all of the true talent capable of finding employment elsewhere having left the building long ago.

I can understand why you’re so angry though as that’s a hard truth to swallow, but the reality nonetheless. The word salad you express your anger through is just the cherry on top so keep laughing … as the world laughs at that dumpster fire called Nielsen and those still left there.

It's parasites like you what made me realize that I really really need to leave this company.

Aren't you able to stop for a second and think about you being the one denigrating those that have just lost their job for no good reason? Have you ever thought that the only reason you still have a job is because you are underpaid or you do actually kiss any a-s (or su-k any di-k) they put in front of you? How can you think that you are capable of strategizing when in reality you are just incapable of finding another job (go figure why).

You're the worst a human being there can be, an opportunistic mo---------r unworthy of anybody's time, there's a reason they haven't fire you yet, it's parasites like you the ones they want these days at Nielsen when all the great talent is already gone. You are the one in need of reading between the lines and understanding what's happening around you.

The most obvious, ironic and humorous takeaway from all of these posts continues to be that utterly useless ‘excess baggage’ that afore-mentioned, thin-skinned, easily- identifiable ex-employees just keep toting around and depositing in unwanted, inappropriate places.
Lost and rudderless souls who dwell on the past and denigrate current employees (all of whom are aware of the demise of the company, but who are capable of strategizing) while they indignantly defend their posts about a company that had no use for them, on a forum that has no use for them.
When will they get the message? Where will they find acceptance? When will they move on? What will they post next??!!
When will they stop making me laugh my damn a$$ off??!!

“ what’s with this …”

This is DEFINITELY a Nielsen employee. No doubt about it.

Easily triggered, overly emotional, insults a flying and lacking other job opportunities outside of calling panelists at 9pm to harass them about pushing their remote control buttons.

They then show up on the social posts of others to spout their nonsense about how you shouldn’t talk just so they may stay employed - then claim victim status when you ignore their request.

Pay attention in school people or this is where you’ll end up.

what’s with this trolling? ffs it’s no surprise that people are trying to keep healthcare & the ability to pay rent while they look for another job. that’s how this works. the job market is terrible. it’s taking people months to land new jobs esp in tech and customer service where outsourcing is the norm again. Cut people a damn break or fu-k off with your keyboard warrior insulting. Grow the fu-k up, troll. Nielsen will sink themselves. Everyone in the corp world knew what it meant when Elliott bought Nielsen’s debt. They all know the end is coming. There’s no mystery here.

‘Shouldn't you be working or su-king some big di-k as opposed to hanging around on this forum?’

When all else fails, resort to sophomoric, scatological playground taunts…
Thin skin keeps getting thinner, revealing the sad desperation that lies beneath.
Pick up your baggage, move on to another schoolyard and fight with the kids who may afford you a more equitable battlefield (if you can find any children who will spar with such an obviously inferior opponent).
And try to ignore the rounds of laughter that follow your departure as we bid you adieu!
(Though I fear that your baggage is too heavy a burden, so that you might never be able to pick up and move on…)

The only thing laughable here are those still holding onto their jobs with this cr-p company while expecting others to monitor their feelings and thoughts on a public forum just so they can remain employed.

Amazing how much (further) this company has fallen in such a short amount of time. Good riddance.

"Only crying in laughter over ..."

(P1) The thoughts and advice of ex-Nielsen employees on a public forum triggers me.
(P2) Ex-Nielsen employees should move on as their thoughts and advice threaten the security of my job.
(P3) Although Nielsen is a sh*t company that treats employees badly, I need my job.
(C) Therefore ex-Nielsen employees should refrain from sharing anything that will be of conflict on a public forum in order for me to keep my cr-ppy job.

No, not a bit of narcissistic behavior here. Not one bit.

Only crying in laughter over disgruntled ex-employee...

Shouldn't you be working or su-king some big di-k as opposed to hanging around on this forum?

This is exactly the kind of employees Nielsen wants these days. Disgusting and I'm glad I have already left that pool of mo--ns!

‘The people like yourself still there crying’….
Only crying in laughter over disgruntled ex-employee who seems fixated on posting about a company that, obstensively, one would imagine to be in their rear view mirror…With all your ‘talent’, surely your obsessions and efforts here are misplaced…sounds like you’ve left a little ‘skin in the game’— and it appears to be pretty thin….

Some of us are still trying to buy a little time to get that next job opportunity

How do you feel about that knowing that you are perpetuating a scam led by mo--ns that call themselves leaders?

Have some decency and move on, or shut up and keep your head down (as it is required of you nowadays on this sh---y company).

Talks with the MRC about Nielsen’s offshoring have been eye opening and given me hope about how they’re viewing all of this. Same thing with two of Nielsen’s clients.

Keep talking as we’re not the only ones with concerns about Nielsen’s new path. They want to hear what we have to say, and if you have documents or things to back up what you tell them even better.

“ With all due respect …”

Word salad and emojis from a Nielsen corporate a$$ kisser about to be unemployed. Enough said.

All of the real talent left months / years ago as they had options for employment elsewhere. The people like yourself still there crying not so much. Good luck with that!

With all due respect (something that you failed to afford anyone here), I (and many others, I’m sure) have neither betrayed or ‘(sold) others out’; haven’t trained replacements or kissed anyone’s a$$, but rather continue to do the job at hand…and I, for one, will not ‘cry foul’ when my ‘time comes’ (as it inevitably shall)…we all see the hand-writing on the wall…
Your narcissistic, apoplectic, overly-generalized assumptions about ‘people who remain at Nielsen,’ along with your heart-felt well-wishes 🤪 to us all, speaks volumes about your character and provides insight on why you might have preceded many others in the unemployment line. Hopefully you’ll be LONG GONE before we get there…I’m quite sure that those of us who remain behind care as little for you as you do for us, respectfully speaking, of course, lol. Cheers!!

“So this forum is about Nielsen layoffs— and while we can …”

Personally couldn’t care less about the people who remain at Nielsen.

You’re the people in self preservation mode who trained the replacements of your colleagues just to kiss some TL a$$ and buy some addtl time for yourselves. There’s zero empathy here for those who sell others out — then cry foul once their time comes (is coming) around.

So now that we’re done with assumptions and observations, hoping your time arrives soon as there’s a long line of people already on the unemployment line waiting for your arrival.

So this forum is about Nielsen layoffs— and while we can all agree that Nielsen’s demise is a foregone conclusion (just a matter of time), it’s still a bit unsettling that so many of the posts seem to originate from those who no longer have a stake (ie, those who have been laid off/moved on,etc.)… or at least it would seem so, since urging individuals to report to MRC and clients would just speed up the process for those left behind…Just an observation…Some of us are still trying to buy a little time to get that next job opportunity…..So I think your appeals are being made to the wrong audience….
