Pit of Misery

Earlier this year I had an interview for a role and had to go through a number of rounds of interviews meeting the team. Never have I met a more miserable and soulless group of people. I could tell by their questions and engagement that they didn’t want to be on the panel, they were not enthusiastic about the work, and moreover they seemed threatened by someone from the outside coming in with any type of new ideas or energy. Add that to the lackluster offer (which I was told was non-negotiable when presented it by the recruiter) I had to decline. I know the hiring manager ultimately makes the call regardless of team feedback but I could tell the team was dead on arrival from the first conversation, huge red flag. Who want to work on a team like that?

Playing the devil's advocate, right? Like the movie? Nice try. It's incredible how families can be mad.

Be the small ray of sunshine that shines onto the gray clouds. Where misery exists, there is opportunity. Be the one who uses that opportunity for good.

1 year took me to get tjis stalker. But I got you now. One year of this stalker making my life a he-l. I just needed one mistake and now you I will pull this string. Now "Choffer" or "Declan" I won.

Lots of walking dead at Fidelity. People just don’t care anymore and in some cases it’s for good reason. One can only give so much after being treated poorly.
