Yes, its really sad state of affairs. I spoke to my other colleagues in other BU's and everyone feels the same. All of us will leave if we get a chance. Its hard at our age now

We have also been asked to reduce by certain $ amount of capital expenditure, so basically that translates into how many heads you can cut. Cutting in India will mean more heads to meet same $ amount, so main target is US
If you're 60+, you're an easy target. Cisco likes getting more stock options back and not providing any ER! It is the way Cisco treats their most loyal employees.
