Since Pat is saying that Intel will be Fabless does that mean that the majority of the cuts will be process engineers and technicians in the fab?

Intel is fabless, Intel foundry is not, remember they are not the same anymore
In the all-company email that Pat sent out earlier today, he said that we have assessed ourselves against ...fabless product companies..., but I feel that we're headed that way in the near future.
Actually, he did. He said "with going fabless and growing Foundry...yada yada yada." He slipped that in near the end of the earnings call.
no , the focus is to try and bring back all the tiles that are outsourced... so these people are the ones needed IMHO
