Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Bad numbers today

We can celebrate people in leadership being punished all we want. But we know we are going to pay the price for all bad decisions and incompetent management. Reorg, layoffs and other cost cutting which will impact us are coming. And we can only expect them not to be conducted with rhyme and reason.

MW and his cronies have cut too deep. Look at his safe and reliable track record: safety/fatalities on average 3-5 per year, no institutional knowledge left, no sound IT systems for record retention.

And since nobody is paying attention to inventory, a bunch of contractors under the real estate umbrella that have stolen TVs, IT equipment and furniture that was slated for other Chevron locations…nobody is held accused around this company! Sad.

Irony is that Reorgs are part of the problem. Another might literally cripple the company. Oh well. Ride this cash cow to the ground.

It happens every 5 years - why is this is a surprise?
