Lump sum, same as package for the last two years, partial sabbatical payout depends on your state. No payout in Oregon for but yes in California.

Does anyone know if it gets paid in 1 lump sum (ie counts toward taxable income of 2024)?

Same package for the past couple years. There is a link to resources on circuit including a calculator. You also get paid for unused sabbatical and get prorated APB (if there is any in 2025)

@avx is correct. But in addition you also get 1 year of medical insurance.

4 weeks + 1.5 weeks per full year of service + 9 weeks (instead of redeployment)

Right - but details like numbers of days per week x years - any guess?

Still thought it was ironic after all the talk of "inefficiencies" and "needing quicker decision making" that your manager reviews your CPM application, then leadership, then back down to your manager who ultimately has final say.

No exact numbers, but I hear it's smaller than the DCAI package offered last month. Eligibility depends on group but with a 15% reduction target I expect they'll accept anyone who applies.
