Change takes place on 1/1/25. Any sabbatical accrued can be used within 3 years. Your time toward next sabbatical stays intact. For example if you are 3.5 years toward your next sabbatical on 1/1/25, you will be awarded a 4 week sabbatical on around Nov'25 rather than 7/1/25.

4 weeks every 7 years instead of 4 weeks every 4 years.

I imagine those in California will have to be paid out any lost accrued sabbatical time, in accordance with state laws.

@qqs It gets reduced to 4 weeks effective immediately.

What about those who are already accrued and are eligible for 8 weeks?

The change is meaningless because Intel won't survive another 7 years anyways.
