Well, this is then probably the last time there will be govt incentive, I guess.

Seems like they will keep the foundry capex going to make sure all the govt money keeps flowing. Federal is not to be mixed with Foundry. Federal does projects for govt customers , has a bunch of fat cats , so they will trim it to keep operational costs down. No one is safe.
Government should reduce Chips Act $$$ by 20% in alignment with Foundry cut in CapEx. This is starting to look like the solar energy government spending by Dr. CHU and Obama. Nothing ever came of it since the companies could not built cost competitive products that customers wanted. Also Chinese solar panels flooded the market.
