I know he’s just there to swing the Axe for Mike, but still need to run the business in the meantime in what needs to be a critical time for exploration success. Can’t have anymore short term margins thinking.

The problem is there's no one in Upstream of any caliber to take over or make a difference. All your good choices "left" in 2015 or 2020 (JG gave them packages they couldn't refuse). LS and KMcH are just diversity placements, perfect examples of the Peter Principle. Once we gutted DWEP and replaced it with GOM, we jettisoned the only successful exploration BU in the company since 2000. New Ventures / Frontier / whatever it's called couldn't find oil in a Walmart and knowingly passed on Guyana.
MW has completely F-ed this company up.
Bro haven't had an exploration discovery in over 10 years and we passed on guyana.... We are fu---n cooked. We've become a meme oil company they will cut off it's own fingers to pay shareholders. We invested none of the money we had sitting in pure cash during and after COVID, we spent it on buybacks and acquisitions to make up for our pi-s poor core business, exploration and production.
