Circuit says BU will determine who to send CPM packages to. Then the employee can either accept or decline the CPM package and not volunteer. But those who accept the CPM package, the BU will review their application again ??? Then why the fu-k would they send that employee the CPM package if they will review it again ? Am I missing something or these just plain id--ts in HR ?

CPM is Corporate People Movement. Yes, CPM will be sent to all or some, depending on your division managers decisions. Look for work first before agreeing to any such cr-p.
what does cpm stand for?
The BU review is just a failsafe in case the number of volunteers exceeds their targets. This only gets reviewed by senior VPs in the BU. Your FLM will not know about it until it gets approved, so most likely all requests get approved.
Circuit says the BU will review CPM applications submitted and can approve/reject. So it's not guaranteed you will get approved for CPM even if you volunteer. That's how I read it
You misunderstood. They will start with retirement offers and voluntary separation. Anyone eligible for retirement who wants to take it gets approved. BU will decide who to approve for voluntary separation. If your BU doesn't get enough volunteers from these two programs, they will select additional folks for additional invoulantary separation.
There is a separation estimator that you can use to calculate your payout. If you take the CPM it should turn out to be 13 weeks in your case as you have not completed 1 full year . It's not bad honestly
I’ve only been a BB employee for 3-4 months so I assume I don’t get anything and my hope is to not get picked for involuntary CPM?
So CPM will be sent to all Intel employees?
I think Christy said BU will give a chance for people to apply for CPM and then BU will review to accept or reject!
My thoughts exactly... after Pat preached about how inefficient Intel is... prime example here probably laid out by CP
