Anyone have inside knowledge of what BUs are impacted?

Of course it will be subject to review. When you ask for volunteers the best performers will be first in line as they have the most options. Intel would literally be providing incentive for the best talent to leave while the bottom performers, who can't get a job anywhere, will stay to milk the company.

@ski I heard that enhanced retirement is still subject to review. They can't stop you from leaving but they can deny you a package for volunteering to retire.

Looking at the FAQ looks like everyone will get an email based on eligibility except Altera and NAND are excluded.
Anyone who applies for enhanced retirement is guaranteed to be excepted after that any non retirement CPM will be decided by business needs and cost targets and all members of a team won’t be let go. The work has to be done. Those left behind need to prepare to step up and work harder for those that leave

All of them! Good luck too. I’m a former 30+ years involuntarily CPM retired who never ever went below expectations yet here I am. I’m now in a new role and doing well outside Intel with the severance still in hand.
