Anybody with two working brain cells knew full well we were not on the road to recovery. You can just read posts here from the past year to realize that everybody could see things were getting worse, not better. Everybody but our leadership, apparently. Admitting they thought we started "climbing back" is an admittance of their own incompetence. They should be the ones let go, not us.

I saw TD managers reports to Ann and her LTD staff thay they can do everything, which in fact is the opposite. These managers just made the impression and gained credit by saying they will do everything, in a few years, no one noticed that nothing is done.
100%. Any company that lays-off employees means the management / CEO has failed. They should be the first to be removed. No confidence...
Yes this layoff isn’t going to fix anything. Things will get worse for those who remain. Now those we were lucky enough to remain will have to work 2 jobs back filling their missing colleagues positions. So over worked and under paid and cycle will repeat. There will be additional layoffs on smaller scale in about 2-3 years time.
If you knew about it for the past year why are you still here. The job market was better a year ago.
