" If you don't like it get the laws changed don't just come here and b!tch about it."
Hmm a clown. Sure budy give me 2 billion dollars so I can select the next president.
The days of selling your rotting fairy tales are over.
law = a bunch of words on paper interpreted one way or another and enforced/or not depending upon who is in power.
@gqx+1tQCIChq - how is this corruption? They aren't doing anything illegal. If you don't like it get the laws changed don't just come here and b!tch about it.
Problem is created by h1b, to survive they only hire their own kind and flurish using dirty politics. They must be removed without severance, VMware had done it, why not Intel ?
If someone is the USA citizen and still working at intel, that person is incapable. No one should be working at intel by choice. CEO is narcissistic, compensation is bad, culture is toxic, etc. most of the smart people with citizenship have left. They have worst of the worst left. There are plenty of jobs at NVDA. No relocation required and work from home if remote.
I know several senior engineers with decades of valuable tribal knowledge that are leaving.
Intel will be left with a skeleton crew. The G10/G11 engineers just push PPT, they don't know how to debug customer issues.
VMware had done this, many other companies had done. Intel took money from tax payer, and now they want to fire citizen and then hire h1b, we won’t allow such corruption.
With this Intel don’t need to pay them severance also, save tax payer money. Many companies had done this

It's not an H1B issue. It's a management issue. Reduction should be at the top.
The problem that needs to be solved isn't simple headcount numbers. H1B doesn't mean bad employee and it also doesn't guarantee a great one. Intel needs talent and doing a voluntary separation pretty much assures that the talent and experience leaves. Bigger problem created...
