20+ luncheon

Can someone please tell me does the luncheon for associates with 20+ years still exist?

Oh yeah. I do remember those. Ours started as the entire market, then about three years later the market manager gave a budget for each club to do their own. Then covid hit and everything stopped. There was question about resurrecting the event but new management team really don't think its the best practice for our associates and members as it would take us away from the club. It was fun though.

We used to have a 15+ party, until I reached 15 yrs. Now, not even a mention of a Christmas gathering. A $2 bundt cake instead of a Turkey, etc, etc. They used to pretend to care. Now they don't even make the effort to pretend. No personnel department. You're on your own. I hope you don't need any more signs to understand this. I positively care more about my department than my bosses. Positively. But I'm trying not to. No more bailing them out in a pinch when the heat is on. I'm on my own, so they can be too.

If you have a good Market Manager it does.

Our market does something every year. Sometimes it’s just our club doing a local event, but other times the entire market gets together in St. Louis.

It only happened twice. Since like 2016.
