Some things have to happen for better days to come your way. I experienced similar situation back in 2015 and how I was going to let my family know. I don't even know how I got home.
Mine was ISP and I was 55 YO and within 6 months of qualifying for the rule of75. I had a new job within a week and went there with my over 48 weeks of pay. Best thing that ever happened to me was leaving Intel.
I feel for you but trust me in the long run you be so much happier. Most Intel employees have very good experience and highly sought after.
