ISP = VSP minus a couple of support items (job search and such).
ERP is a different animal.
The payout is like 4 weeks, plus 1.5 x years of work. So unless you have a lot of years, no good reason to volunteer for CPM. You will be let go sooner by a few weeks (4 or more) then if they cut you involuntarily, so the difference would be 1.5 x years of work, at most. Otherwise, once you are out, you are out, no difference. Better use the time to prepare for job searching.
