I know for retirement and voluntary cpm it will come in an email. I assume the isp will be in person with your manager.

Phone call or in-person. Look for a meeting invite entitled "Mandatory Discussion", that's when you'll know for sure.
Intel has done ISP in a lot of ways in the past and you will most likely get to talk with someone as a short pre-exit meeting. It will probably be in the form of a short notice meeting invite with your manager or an HR rep or both. It will be happening to a lot of people at the same time so you will know when it starts. Real quiet time in the office.
