Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Stock drops below $25. The slow march towards oblivion accelerates

Another 10% reduction in force on the way. Existing customers leaving in droves. No new products. No new clients. Revenue YoY continuing to drop. No reason for hope.

Someone who really doesn't care anymore and is just waiting to get riffed (50%+ of who is left?) should ask this question to SM at the next town hall -- assuming the ELT has the guts to have one -- "hey Steve, if we had DEI'd harder, do you think that would made a difference? Have we failed because our unconscious biases were just too strong?"

The angry righties always blame "DEI" as their all-purpose boogeyman.

Last I checked, it was a WHITE MALE executive who said "the cloud is just a fad" 7 years ago, in a boardroom in Ohio. He singlehandedly doomed Teradata to the death spiral it is in today.
