Alright, someone’s gotta know and surely I ain’t the only one hearing rumors. Is Mr aydt retiring? Are either of his direct reports exiting? El Paso, Robinson, GBR, CBG all getting Gms switched around? Rumors, predictions all welcome.

anyone else heard rumors about Aydt retiring?
If war comes there won’t be any refinery work. Because there won’t be any refineries left. This time the US can’t hide behind an ocean.
The first reply here is 100% correct. The issue with some is that they moved up frequently and moved around quickly enough that their incompetence was not noticed by the masses, but a couple of them have been there long enough now to take two of the most reliable, high morale refineries and run them into the most beat down and belittled. This can’t be lost on people at the very top. The question is will they actually do something about it. My instincts tell me nope. Marathon is a lot about not admitting the wrong people got put in leadership roles because it reflects poorly on the people who advocated for them, so rather than admit that, they’ll just turn the other way.
After the budget season, September or so, look for some GMs to get moved. Wonder if Maryann will announce any leadership changes during townhall.
Morale is at all time low at both the non union plants, GVL and ROB. I am shocked they’ve allowed the issues there to sit and fester as long as they have, more concerned with saving face than saving the workforce that runs those plants. So very sad.
No shake ups likely due to most refineries do great in times of War. Much oil and gas gets sold. There is not anybody who cannot see this War coming soon (sad to say). Pray for Peace for all.
They are due for another refinery manager shake up. A lot of them have been where they are long enough that their incompetence is no longer a secret, need to rotate around so they look smart again at a new site.
