Not going to apply for CPM VSP. Going to stop working (I am almost sure I'll be picked up for ISP in October and get the same package) and spend next 2 months job searching. No OKRs no late evenings. Bye bye manager and Intel

They have confirmed VSP and ISP package is the SAME! Why is there so much confusion around that
I don’t understand these comments about VSP being better than ISP unless they’re referring to some potential future ISP beyond 2024. The packages are identical and with ISP you get 6 more weeks of pay and benefits. The only reason to take VSP is if you want out and aren’t confident in being cut during ISP.
Productivity is going to drop until this round of layoffs is over and then it will be the holidays. Not much is going to get accomplished until next year. I doubt that anyone will notice that you aren’t doing much. Good luck in the job search.
Anyone who chooses not to take the VSP is a fool. Guaranteed that your ISP won’t be nearly as good. And come later in the fall most companies will freeze job reqs as is common near year-end. Take the VSP now and start looking for a new job.
Haven't they made it clear that the ISP package is same as the VSP package ? Or have they changed it in the past ?
Been here for little over 6months so don't know from first hand experience
Yeah they will likely reduce the package even if you get to ride the next 2 months. I'm assuming you know all that
The VSP is usually the best deal you'll get to leave Intel and that is usually made really clear to encourage more employees to take this route. Be sure to factor that into your decision-making if that's what's being offered this time, too.
They might hit you with performance issues so you won't be eligible for ISP. They'll just straight fire you
That's what she said?
