I don't know how he can honestly say he is doing a good job. His first shot at being a CEO and he has failed miserably. He thinks he can flash the cheesy grin , throw about some buzzwords and get away with it. The analysts at the next earnings call will rip him to shreds.
Rookie CEOs rarely work out in challenging environments. SM is either delusional or purposely deceitful to keep saying "the strategy is working" - either way he needs to go and take his inept ELT with him. Sorry to say, it is hopeless for Teradata now. Sell to a PE who will milk the remaining customers until they run dry.
They have ruined so many lives with their incompetency.
