I was offered a significant retention bonus to stick around as I hinted to my manager I was interviewing at NVIDIA. I am going to wait for the NVIDIA offer to come through before declining!

There are. I got one too. There are stipulations tied to it but I know others got them too. Not who but I am aware others went out.
There is no retention bonuses this time. Stop bullsh-tting.
