@4tgn+1tTCvryY: The Nasser-era e-bikes were branded as Th!nk products, but were not made by Th!nk Nordic AS in Norway. They were built by the Giant bicycle company in Taiwan, if memory serves.

“Ford didn't have the assets of Model e/Ford+ and software technology back then to leverage either.”

Ford has nothing more today then it had then. In fact, we have less talent. Proof: people like you apparently work here.

More money has been wasted talking about this than will ever be generated in revenue.

Brings back to memory the Norwegian EV comapny Th!nk that Ford bought in 1999 under Jaques Nasser touting its small EV and bicycle. The company made no sales progress in the stastes due to the price point of the bicycle. As usual ford lost money and sold Thi!nk at a loss in 2003. History will reppeat itself.

What do you do when your Ford primary EV craps out on you and your Ford EV bike doesn’t have enough juice to get you home?

Uber I guess.

I can just picture all the bike racks at the train station. At $5,000 they better have good locks...

Is canopy even still in business? It’s been three months since they posted on their X account.

When you can't make a decent vehicle, try making a bike. Good God! Stay in your lane Ford! No one wants a $5k bike that will be recalled like every other Ford peoduct!

Canopy couldn’t manage their way to getting their first product right
After over three years and $500 million, NO PRODUCT.
Why would anyone buy anything else they offer?

Canopy is working on some pretty cool things to support Ford.

I don’t think Ford is targeting all the fat losers who spend their day bashing the company from their keyboards.

Adding any Ford logo to anything makes that thing worth less to me, not more.

For more experienced employees, this is not new.

Does anyone in Ford marketing or senior management have an original idea? Ford marketed electric bikes under the Th!nk brand in the late 1990s. If memory serves, they did not sell very well.

Those make an excellent backup ride for when your primary Ford vehicle is recalled or in the shop. Ford should include bike racks with each new purchase or lease…
