Predictive Index Test for all recruiters? Is this their way of weeding sales people out? If you score low, are they laying you off?

The sad reality is that there is no transparency. There hasn't been for quite a long time. Even before the first layoff. Everyone was lied to. They weren't even honest from the beginning with telling people financially they were doing ok and that people's jobs were secure and that there wasn't anything to worry about. Looking back, there never was any transparency or honesty on the companies part. They have viewed people as a number and not actual human beings with talents. Clocking in everyday not knowing if we'll have a job isn't the way to live. You're absolutely right. The test isn't the big question, but where do people go from here is the question people need to start asking. It's pretty safe to say many are looking for other jobs right now and looking for an out before potentially losing there jobs. It's just all around sad that a company didn't care enough to be truthful from the start and just continue to be shady and more heartless as time goes on.

Let's keep in mind this is all hearsay. While yes they could be using it to lay people off that don't fit what they are looking for, the bigger question is.. Is this a company worth staying at? We constantly feel like the future is not secure and wake up almost daily wonder if today is the day or if there will be yet another change. We are focusing on this one test when there is a bigger question... where are the Leaders of our Company taking us? And where did the "transparency" go that they promised us?

And that is being applied to existing employees, not based on performance but on a psychological test?
Is that documented?

That would be hard to determine as it is a test that is based off of personality, cognitive scores, behavioral traits, values, and other factors that it tests. It isn't really a test that is "scorable." So, realistically whatever the company is looking for within the recruiters to match where the company is going would determine what would be considered an unfavorable score.

What would you guys consider a bad result?

If you look at what open positions are available, they have current open positions for recruiting. That's really the only positions they are currently hiring for. Using that test, they will let go of people who "don't fit the brand" or have a "future with the company" just like Aya did with the use of that test. That's what tells me they are hiring new recruiters/sales and letting go of people with unfavorable scores.

What makes you think that they are laying off those with unfavorable scores and replacing them??

Yes, they are currently hiring a new batch of recruiters. They will be laying off those with unfavorable scores and replacing them.

Someone mentioned this recently. Aya used something similar that was mentioned under the "chopping block" post. I'd confidently say yes, that would be used to determine who would stay and who would be laid off. Sounds like a potential lay off in recruiting and sales is about to occur. This type of test was mentioned that then resulted in people being laid off.
