Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel Hiring Practices

I see that several post regarding spicific aspects of Intel's employe selection and hiring practices get taken down as soon as they are posted.

Yes, this is a legitimate issue when taking money from the government to create chips and jobs in America.

The Solution: Please contact the local and national media with your complaint and get them to run a story or exposé on it.

Technically, the H1B posting does violate policy - specifically harassment and creating an hostile work environment. You are actively discriminating against and disparaging a specific group.

That said, I believe we should layoff all non-citizens first. It's just the right thing to do, it just may not be the fair thing to do. But, life ain't fair, for anyone.

Intel HR Hiring - "We hire the most diverse candidate for the job without regard to to who is best qualified for the job". Yes I actually got HR to say this once when I was in a huge argument with that I wanted the best person. We are seeing the result of almost 10 years of this policy.

If you want to see who has the real power, find out who you are not allowed to criticize.

If you use the (H One B)) word your post will get taken down. Seems like some very important people don't want this legitimate concern to reach the light of day.
