Here’s a big part of the problem. Things are called “done” way too early. Products and processes still have major flaws but they are “done” so ship them. Look at 13/14th gen CPUs. This is what I was thinking. I think they knew the labor wouldn’t be needed permanently but wanted to get fast results rather than spending the time to clean up the inefficiencies.
