If Intel had AMD's exact Q2, the Intel stock would be $2.00 a share. At that price, I could personally buy Intel.

A lot of people can personally buy Intel. The question is why would they? Politicians actually make sense and have much more pull compared to the id--ts who decided on Larabbee, McAffee, Nervana Wimax etc etc
Zen 5 is getting terrible reviews, not even better than 7th gen. Does this sound a lot like Intel 13th to 14th gen? Good luck against Arrow Lake!!!
Is someone on here actually talking sh-t against AMD and NVidia here? OMG! get a clue! You first have to admit that you have a problem before you can make a comeback. No products in our pipeline are best in class and we are broke. The Dow is thinking about dropping us and you are talking sh-t? Check yourself into an institution.
Umm. Typical Intel song and dance. You have a long way to go with Mr. "rear view mirror" running the show. Lets see if Gaudi 3 makes it out of the labs. If anyone wants to buy it. If it has via oxidation issues or if is degrades over time, etc. etc.
AMD had positive net profit. Intel had negative GAAP and a barely positive fake profit.
I am glad you are agreeing that Gaudi3 is better than what AMD is selling today. I think we can agree that Blackwell is far superior to anything AMD has designed for the next 2 years. Some say that AMD only gets about half the theoretical FLOPS in raw GEMM workloads, and that FlashAttention2 doesn't work well on the backward pass. Lets not start on the weird software stack. Unfortunately, AMD won't release benchmarks, and for good reason! There is a reason AMD only has $4.5B of sales this year and Nvidia $100B.
AMD will laugh: They plan to start shipping an accelerator chip with double the memory of Intel's Gaudi 3.
NVidia will laugh: Blackwell supports FP4, which Gaudi 3 does not.
Overall growth is flat going on three years. Intel desktop revenue alone is more than AMD's desktop, laptop, gaming, and embedded combined. Even AMD server can't repair those huge losses in marketshare. What will AMD do when Gaudi3 ramps.
If some other reindeers nose was red, he would be the red nosed reindeer.
Intel id--ts don’t understand cash flow and growth rates.
AMD will have higher datacenter revenues than Intel next quarter and will quickly eclipse Intel in the coming quarters.
They are also taking client share (up 49% YoY) just in Q2.
They’ve 4x the revenue over the last 5 years with no signs of stopping.
Intel has been in the negative direction for the last 5 years. The long term cash flows are trending negative which is why Intel has to cut costs with layoffs.
No wonder Intel is in the shi’tter with people like OP.
