Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Are you looking for another job?

I started a while ago, because I just can’t be bothered with cr-p here anymore. I’ve received several offers, none of them particularly spectacular, but they are coming in. I’m in no hurry, so I’m going slowly in hopes I will come across a job I would really like to take. Pay is not a decisive factor, I’m looking at other stuff like work-life balance, benefits and, honestly, size of the place as well. Wouldn’t mind switching to a smaller company. How are your experiences? I’m wondering if I should speed it up due to bad news all around.

I found a new job lightning fast. Very happy with what I found. Life is dramatically better than ATT the company although I miss the people I worked with. We all deserve better than Stankey and his clown show. Take better care of my compadres than you did for me Jon Summers you d#mb bald p3nis

Yes, I am. I am also willing to take a paycut if that means I am working nearby, justifiable commute times or 100% remote. I've been getting interviews. Driving 6hr a week is no longer logical and the pettiness of making it min 3 days is beyond absurd. I wont be complaining verbally, because theres no point. Just leave when that time comes.

RTO, multiple layoffs, unequal policies/favoritism, lack of transparency, lack of trust, etc.— at some point folks will realize it’s not worth the trouble. Work here as long as it suits you. If you get a better offer (in terms of benefits/work environment/balance/$) take it with no regrets. Smart to interview & line things up to leave on your own terms.

Why not take another job and keep collecting your AT&T check to see how long it takes them to notice?

If you’re wasting time on offers (plural) those companies won’t consider you again. You are your own worst enemy right now, sir.
