I’m thankful for this mess. It finally pushed me to look for other opportunities. I’ve been here for too long and became complacent. Honestly, I feel more energized now than ever in the past couple of years. I don’t care that the job market looks bad, and I’m definitely not scared of the change. It’s funny how we sometimes need bad to happen to push us towards better in life.

Yes! Ditto.
Same all the way. I’ve traveled many groups up scaling myself over the years wondering what the f was wrong with most orgs. Thinking it was just me (some is for sure) and just how corporate life is. Now I wonder if likely something was always off with this place. Moving on soon so will see! Keep your head up folks!
Is it true intel really pushed the covid jabs on its workers?
Personally I have seen people in low end of wages are more at peace and happier than hi tech people with higher salaries
Money does not really make us happier but it gives us fleeting pleasure e.g. a new car but it is fleeting after all.
The stress and burden is not worth.
If I get laid off from my high paying job for sure I won't be pursuing another job like this .
My lifestyle is minimalistic and don't need lot of $$ to sustain
Peace of mind above all.
Same here, caught off guard last year after been promoted. Travelled with family for couple weeks then land a job that pays double than Intel. I was low balled by Intel after I met couple of old colleagues after I joined. no regrets at all. Enjoy my life now.
Yup, same here. Opted for CPM. Going to clear my mortgage & still have 6 months wages available.
Time to do some travelling & then take another job anywhere, even less pay won't be an issue.
There is life outside/after Intel and its better than Intel seems to want any employees to know. I left over 5 years ago and have NO regrets.
100%, decided to apply for the CPM. No I'll feelings.
Stock is at 19.50 dollars. Lovely.
All the best! Got the CPM last year, and that's the best thing that happened to me and my family. We took the time to travel for 3 weeks and got a job with AMD. Mentally I am in a much better place than before.
Amen brother!
Heyyyyyyy , you are not alone!!! feeling the same here!!
