This is the second time in 2 years that they ‘missed’ business conditions. Back in Q4 2022, they didn’t anticipate the post-COVID slump after increased revenues of parents buying PCs for school-at-home kids and companies needed PCs for employees WFH during the pandemic.

Too much is made out of Pat. That's by design. Intel has a culture of promoting people with reverence. When Pat was passed up in the past, people lamented. There is a certain aura that one must emit in order to be at the reins. Perhaps it worked in the hey days. Anyone remembers Ottelini? People were gaga over him when PC refresh cycle kept the cushion. Of course, Intel x86 fanatics didn't take on ARM architecture and we know where ARM is. The same goes for the technological advances in manufacturing process. Many slips and toxic culture led to the decline. Of course, things were fine without having separate business units for accountability. Now, it shows up.
Can someone from Intel provide an honest estimation of Intel stock value change since these two guys taking over as CEO and CFO? How much did American #1 semiconductor corporation in the world lost its value during their tenure at Intel? Who hired them and who are their current managers? How do they rate their performance versus 18K employees that are going to be laid off? The problems at Intel are very serious enough for Federal agents to start deep investigation into the matter. Save American and semiconductor from collapse because of these people.
They don't understand their business and now must respond to Wall Street by cutting all theses costs/heads. PG is a clown
