Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

I didn’t expected it to become public this early into our expectation

Even rumors were late to the game. I hope they’ll get me this time. I have another opportunity lined up (not 100% sure, but it’s looking good). Even without it, I can’t wait to be let go. That is not to say that I don’t feel for others. Many of us are in no position to lose our jobs right now. I hope everything will work out for the best for those who do in this round. Good luck!

There’s no way it’s only 4k unless they plan more after Q1 or Q2.

yea two weeks back we got survey for "Best Place to Work"

While all along Management is getting the list ready to cut and hide their mistakes.

every year we are Networking company , software company , AI company(latest fad) and what not .

no clear direction and clueless from Top while middle management is enjoying and doing Project Management work.

People will only leak confidential information when/if they are not happy with how the company is treating employees... Pure and simple!!!

A really nasty company. No one matters at all here. They should be utterly ashamed talking about mental health and wellbeing and care of veterans whilst they LR so many people so often.

It is the new normal communications scheme for Cisco. Leak incendiary news to the press so that the natives will burn some energy prior to "the call". Machiavellian, at best.
