Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Gelsinger lies on 18A

January 2023

Additionally, we continue to make progress on Intel 18A, and have already shared the engineering release of PDK 0.5 (process design kit) with our lead customers and expect to have the final production release in the next few weeks.

July 2023

But having one really sign up for some volume, I don’t think that happens until we have the PDKs at a mature level. We’re expecting that in the back half of the year. And I think that’s why we feel -- based on early from customers, I think that’s why we feel confident we will be securing a customer in the back half of the year

So they have mature PDK in the back half of 2023?

But, we only see PDK 1.0 NOW in mid-2024?

Also let’s not forget this gem from April 2024

So, we feel very comfortable that the second half outlook is quite strong for the business, a first half a bit weaker, but we think it's very understandable, very explainable, and a second half outlook that will be very comfortable for every business across Intel growing and a lot of momentum as we go into '25.

You really want to believe him about Intel’s future prospects? It’s lie after lie with this guy.

Pat Gelsinger has lost all credibility whatsoever. Not even his own mother can believe him at this point in time.

It takes AMD 10 years to recover from their bottom after splitting their fab. There does not seem to be a miracle for Intel if ever possible.

Intel has not hit bottom yet. The mass exodus of people that is underway will further imped any possible recovery. It is going to get a lot worse before a bottom is reached. There is also a good possibility that Intel won’t be able to recover from that bottom state.

Gelsinger in July 2022:

This is the bottom, we're rebuilding from here.

Gelsinger in August 2023

the worst is behind us

Gelsinger in April 2024

We continue to see Q1 as the bottom, and we expect sequential revenue growth to strengthen throughout the year and into 2025
