Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Number of internal jobs posting now? Best candidate bid for jobs posted.

Can someone post count? Any hiring freeze? There is a flood of internal folks soon coming off LR looking for another job. Cisco recruiters will be very busy matching internal jobs to folks affected. It’s a rat race to survival.

All internal jobs are fake and staged.
Applicants are scapegoats of this high drama of internal jobs.
Think about if you are hiring manager, in such job market when people are desperate for jobs then why not HMs bring someone from their network, relative, friend or a red badge working from years ?

No hunger games or internal hiring
Hiring managers already hired pre-identified and decided folks from their network but you can call it NEPOTISM, who cares during LR ? Many red badges converted to blue in Q3/Q4 before the LR news popped up. Mangers new in advance and they expedited their hiring process. D-mb recruiters not even reviewing the resumes send out the rejection to internal job seekers. Cisco hiring especially internal has become mafia and money laundering with vested interests of hiring managers. No ethics or morals left and mgmt is well aware and HR has closed their eyes

Yep. I'll save my job and throw everyone on my team under the bus if needed. I bet everyone will do the same

Managers use this time to post jobs that are already been performed in their team, but hope to find a better qualified person from the LR list. If they do, they can always put current team member on next list, and let the most qualified person fill in that position. Few of the mostly unspoken and hidden benefits of frequent layoffs.
