Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is Sioux Falls center staying open?

Heard through the grapevine that Sioux Falls is no longer on the list of locations being closed. Anyone have any insight?

Nailed it. ANY domestic group under SP is on borrowed time. Any promises that they'll be kept on or their location is safe should be followed by an immediate "for now". SP isn't here to make friends, he's here to oversee the mass downsizing of the domestic workers in his group. In fact, they have moved quite a few groups under him specifically for that reason. Some other execs might have some degree of mercy, he won't, because he's a failed leader and human being.

CSBB CLEARLY made an announcement the next day that they are not staying. It was just sent to those in CSBB that got Scott’s email (which they never should have got). I have seen the email. SC not a core location for CSBB.

I would not trust Scott Powell.

It’s currently only for operations. Other LOB’s haven’t made an announcement yet. It’s core for operations so hopefully it will bring job openings. It’s been a long time since there have been job postings in SF. Much needed.

Also announced that other businesses with teams in that market may decide to reevaluate their go forward strategy for Sioux Falls.

Scott P announced via email on 8/8 that Sioux Falls is now a core market for Wells Fargo and that Consumer Lending Operations, Consumer and Small Business Operations, and Enterprise Complaints and Remediations “will continue to hire and invest in the market going forward”.
