Thread regarding Stellantis - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles layoffs

Layoffs: Customer svc/retention and their 3rd party staffing contracts?

I am employed remotely through a sort of staffing company, doing a sort of customer service/retention job for Stellantis and their customers (I don't want to get specific). I have a permanent (not-temp) position with this staffing company who has a contract with Stellantis. I'm nervous about the gossip online talking about jobs being transferred to cheaper companies. I'm also increasingly nervous as this company's contract with Stellantis is up for renewal in July. Has anyone heard about layoffs/ canceling contracts in this sort of situation?

I don’t know nor have heard anything about staffing company / contracts but hang in there. Focus on what you can control. If it’s really bothering you I’d try generating a backup plan as a worst case in the event something does happen so you can feel prepared and have something to fall back on.
