Permian engineering moving to GP then to India

The days of completing engineering in Midland are coming to an end. First GP will take over management of the engineering role from the BU. Next the engineering will be managed out of Houston with support from India. Finally the engineering will be moved to be 100% not only managed but also completed in India. This is the GP model. GP management sees engineering as a service that can easily be outsourced.

Too many seem all too happy to participate in training their replacements and then gleefully post about it on LjnkedIn.
