Breaking News Midmarket Territory

Engaging in sales within the Platinum/Global/Public Sector is not regarded as a Conflict of Business Conduct (COBC). In fact, it is being blatantly disregarded nationwide. Despite the clearly defined segmentations outlined in the rules of engagement, there are absolutely no consequences for violations. Leadership professes a desire for new business, yet they permit this absurdity to continue unchecked.

Therefore, your choices are as follows:

  1. Engage in sales within other segments, endure partial deductions in compensation, but avoid falling into the bottom quartile, thus maintaining your employment status.
  1. Adhere to the rules of engagement, pursue new business opportunities, and refrain from selling into other segments. However, be prepared this option has you competing against cheating adversaries like Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa in a home run derby for your job.

Doing the right thing doesn't pay at T.

Territory is just mad they can't live in easy street anymore.

You'll actually have to work and actually get NEW customers.

Don't like hunting? Then get a new job. Stop being terrible sellers

What’s the point if rules of engagement? They should change them to segment recommendations if they aren’t going to enforce it

Why didn’t they sell to them to begin with. I know many Platinum and public sector sellers. I can tell you for a fact most of them do little to nothing and almost every one of them have a side business they run and it was even worse before the split.

Absolutely like said below they want you to work for free.... Sell into it then they steal the comp.... They wind up firing the people trying to sell to White Space and are left with folks who write down business all day taking pots to ADIVB. Typical T

For-sure its not a COBC you want to know why? They want you to sell into these markets because half the sellers in these markets are not touching these accounts and then they go and pull the sales afterwards in my comp. Its a win win for T because they don't have to pay the commish on the sales from the fiber sellers after they are pulled. I hear the new audit teams out of Mexico are d-mber than rocks so go figure.

Platinum doesn’t even reach out to half of their accounts. Such a waste!
