Thread regarding Wayfair Inc. layoffs

I know of 2 people let go today, anyone know why this is happening?

One of my co workers in customer service that had no previous work issues was told that they were ending her employment and that she needs to send the computer back. She said it was a 10 min meeting with her manager and the L3. The other person had a similar experience. Im very worried.

Some reasons are because when agents are switched to phones, they are cracking down on making sure it's hardwired and can get the extra speed need for phones, otherwise things freeze up on the PCs. I know of two agents that this has happened to.

Y’all people get fired everyday. I just had 2 people fired 2 days ago for performance. I don’t think they are silent layoffs we would be hearing about them. People will always say “they let me go” there has been no confirmation of any lay offs today

I'm not sure why these posts are so vague considering they're anonymous

What are "job issues" just to clarify?

WFH employees are being separated due to job issues. The company is looking for the slightest excuse and using it.

I wouldn’t read much into that. You don’t know what they have going on, it can be many things that caused a term. I have friends before that told me they got let go for no reason, but I know for a fact they had work avoidance and were talked to many times about it before the term
